Old Hat

My Fall/Winter hat. I snagged it awhile ago! Summer 2007 I believe. I LOVE IT! My Spring/Summer hat is MUCH different:



Be sure to wear one and lots of sunscreen! it's getting toasty out there!

Scents and Sensibilities.

Awhile back, a good pal picked this up for me. It's a very strong orange scented soap. The box is gorgeous and I LOVED it but, the strength of the scent knocked me over. I took it back and unfortunately, this was the only scent that came in the clever little box! Alas... I tried to get the Mr. to use the soap (so I could keep the box) but, he found it too strong as well.

I'm not a HUGE scent gal. I tend to use products that don't have any - as I have very strong allergies that leave me gasping with strong scents. I cannot walk into a perfume store or even past a perfume counter! I start wheezing!

"H" does make several scents that I cannot resist and my friends purchase, although this particular one wasn't right for me, led me to them!

Just be sure not to douse yourself in any scent! A little goes a long way...spare the air and my allergies :-)

Theme SOTD: Scarf Rings

I've been off doing puppet shows and neglected to post anything on the SOTD! So, here is my VERY late addition to the Theme SOTD:

(Note: I'm posting almost completely different scarf pics than the ones I posted on tPF - 'cause I took a LOT of them and they were all goofy! I'd just finished several shows and was pretty wiped out!)

Twilly rings! These were the first scarf rings I ever purchased. I actually like to use them in my hair (with the twilly, of course!).





This is a horn scarf ring! This WAS my "go to" ring for scarves. It made them look "finished" without me having to learn complex knots!





This little silver ring was so charming, I had to have it! I have no idea what it's called, I just like the stitches on the top and bottom:





The Regate was my next PHW piece. This one supplanted the Horn ring as my "go to" for awhile. I love this ring!



Lastly, is the Mors - which I've been wearing a LOT. It's supplanted ALL my previous rings! I can wear it with Twillys, Pochettes, Carres - You name it!
